This week’s episode of “Conspiracies & Coverups” deals with the weather, something we all contend with but have absolutely no power over — or do we?

From chemtrails to cloud seeding, space lasers and government weather weapons, join host and former CIA covert intelligence officer Andrew Bustamante as he investigates if weather control conspiracies actually hold any water.

Andrew will quiz experts about the deluge of theories surrounding weather control, looking at the science and examining the skepticism.

His investigation will include a candid interview with the controversial leader of a cloud seeding company, and explore claims around chemtrails with an aviation engineer who explains why aircraft contrails happen and why they’re often believed to be deliberate spraying.

He’ll also be given rare access beneath Denver International Airport — a hotbed of conspiracy theories in its own right — for a tour of tunnel systems that have fueled speculation about secret bunkers and doomsday survival infrastructure for the elite, putting widespread internet mythology surrounding the travel hub under the microscope.

Episode 3 in the series will also test claims that fires are being deliberately manipulated as part of geoengineering or land-grab conspiracies, partnering with one of the nation’s leading fire research labs to conduct controlled ignition experiments to determine how fires actually start and spread.

Andrew will be joined this week by guests including Augustus Doricko, founder and CEO of Rainmaker; Shelby Banefield, chemical engineer and aircraft mechanic and owner of The Flight School at Meadowlake; Michael Kanopasik, Denver International Airport spokesperson, and Mark Finney and Natalie Wagenbrenner, two researchers with the US Forest Service.

Along for the ride will be New York Post freelancer Eric Spitznagel.

The latest episode of the series — produced in coordination with Texas Crew Productions and New York Post Entertainment — premieres Wednesday, April 8 at 10 pm ET/PT on the Discovery Channel.

If you want to tune in to tonight’s “Conspiracies & Coverups” premiere for free, you can stream it with a DIRECTV free trial. DIRECTV is currently offering five days free and $35 off your first month.
