After opening the World Cup last week, Mexico is back in action today as the tournament begins Matchday 2.

El Tri will face South Korea as it makes it way through Group A.

Both teams scored two goals in their first matches of the tournament. Mexico shut out South Africa in the process, while South Korea allowed one goal from Czechia.

With three points each after decisively winning their opening matches, Mexico and South Korea sit tied atop the Group A leaderboard. So long as tonight’s match doesn’t end in a draw, one of these teams will have a major advantage going into the third and final matchday of the group round.
