The Sweet 16 continues Friday night with a matchup between No. 1 Michigan and No. 4 Alabama.

Michigan will get a high-level test Friday night with a spot in the next round on the line as they face an Alabama team that has been one of the most productive offenses in the country.

The Wolverines advanced over Saint Louis, 95-72, by controlling the game and limiting mistakes, leaning on half-court execution and defense to get through the first weekend. That formula has worked so far, but it becomes more difficult against an Alabama group that prefers to play fast and generate points in volume.

The Crimson Tide lead the nation in 3-pointers made per game, 3-point attempts per game and 3-point attempt rate. They’ll need to keep that momentum going into today’s matchup to keep the score close.
