Former Dolphins assistant coach Ryan Crow told cops that comments made by some of his ex-colleagues’ significant others were what led to a heated dispute with his girlfriend and, eventually, his arrest, new police video obtained The California Post shows.

Crow’s run-in with cops occurred just after midnight on Aug. 29, 2025, after a 911 caller alleged Crow had gotten physical with a woman during an argument outside of a Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. apartment complex.

Newly released Ft. Lauderdale Police Department body cam footage reveals Crow explained to officers that he and his girlfriend quarreled following a trip to a party that was hosted by the Dolphins.

Ryan Crow told police just prior to his August arrest that comments by some of his Dolphins colleagues’ significant others sparked a dispute between he and his girlfriend.
Ryan Crow’s girlfriend told police the then-Dolphins assistant coach pushed her during their argument.

“The people I work with, their wives are really — it’s a tight group,” Crow said. “And they’re kind of weird. And I’m going through a divorce — I just introduced [my girlfriend] into that world. It’s kind of like a nasty world.

“She got introduced in it. I think they told her some stuff that really upset her. Don’t know what. Still working through that. And that’s kind of what triggered everything. That’s kind of what it was. Plus alcohol.”

As Crow was recounting the story, one cop actually joked that it all sounded like an episode of “Real Housewives.”

“With a bunch of alcohol,” Crow added.

Crow insisted throughout questioning that the altercation never turned physical.

Crow’s girlfriend later confirmed to police at the scene that one of the WAGs’ remarks was what ultimately sparked the turn in her and her boyfriend’s night.

“We were at the Dolphins work party,” she said. “I was talking to one of the wives or whatever. [Crow] is still married, so we got to talking and this and that, and she was like, ‘I just want you to know, like, we’re not mad at you.’

“She just went into a whole bunch of stuff.”

The woman said when she relayed the conversation to Crow, “he got really mad.”

“He got, like, angry and he went, like, ‘What the f—k?’,” she said. “And he threw something, like, angrily or whatever. And I was like, ‘That’s not my fault. That’s kind of your fault because you were the one who told lies.’

“And then it just kind of went from there.”

The woman went on to say that Crow pushed her amid the spat.

Ryan Crow was arrested over the dispute with his girlfriend in October, but prosecutors dropped the case in December. Broward County Sheriff’s Office

Crow was arrested on one count of misdemeanor battery, but in October, prosecutors dropped the case, writing in a decline memo that the alleged victim “was adamant that she did not want charges filed” and was “uncooperative with the prosecution of this case.”

“There is no reasonable likelihood of conviction,” they added in the memo, “and this case is being declined.”

Crow was initially placed on administrative leave by the Dolphins — who were coached at the time by Mike McDaniel, the current Chargers’ offensive coordinator — following the incident, but in December, Crow and the team formally parted ways. He had been Miami’s outside linebackers coach since 2024.

Attempts to reach Crow and his attorney for comment on Tuesday were unsuccessful.
