A “Mother and Child” Paul Simon and Queens reunion is almost upon us.

The man who brought the world “Bridge Over Troubled Water” has two shows coming up at Forest Hills Stadium as part of his 2026 ‘Quiet Celebration Tour.’ They’re scheduled to take place on:

Wednesday, July 8
8 p.m.

Thursday, July 9
7 p.m.

If you’d like to be there, last-minute tickets to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer perform in his hometown — he did attend and meet Art Garfunkel at Forest Hills High School after all — are available.

Better yet, some are surprisingly cheap.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats for either concert was $93 including fees on SeatGeek.

Fans hoping to get closer to the action can find tickets in the 100-level for as low as $155 including fees.

Make sure to use promo code NYPOST10 for $10 off purchases over $250 at checkout (Editor’s Note: this discount is only valid for users’ first purchase on SeatGeek).

Prior to the two-night stand in Queens, Simon will make one more NY stop when he headlines at Bethel’s Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on Friday, July 3.

Based on our findings at Set List FM, the 84-year-old Newark native plays 24 songs per show. In addition to tracks from from his recently-released 2023 record “Seven Psalms” (which he performs in full), the legendary vocalist also digs deep into his legendary back catalog and delivers fan favorites like “The Sound of Silence,” “The Boxer,” “Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard,” “Homeward Bound” and “Graceland” among others.

Interestingly enough, Simon isn’t the only member of Simon and Garfunkel on tour this year.

Art Garfunkel has shows booked all over North America from July through November.

And, while he doesn’t have a New York gig scheduled, the brief, eight-show run will come close at the final show of the outing when he plays Morristown, NJ’s Mayo Performing Arts Center on Friday, Nov. 6.

For more information, our team has everything you need to know and more about Paul Simon’s ‘Quiet Celebration Tour’ Forest Hills concerts below.

Paul Simon new music

On May 19, 2023, Simon released his 15th solo studio album “Seven Psalms.”

The unconventional record — which allegedly came to him in a dream — is a single 33-minute track made up of seven parts.

“I envisioned ‘Seven Psalms’ as one long thought, combined with sounds powerful enough to make the thought come alive,” he said.

For our money, the record is a soft, spiritual departure for the sensitive hitmaker. His unmistakable voice is as powerful as ever but there’s a real deep feeling here, one of an artist trying to make a final thesis statement. “Seven Psalms” is simple, lo-fi and a worthy listen for even the most fair weather of fans.

And, while, yes, the album is quite heavy, “My Professional Opinion” is a jaunty, tongue-in-cheek tune that has traces of Simon’s playful classics “Me and Julio Down By The Schoolyard” and “Cecilia” in its DNA if you squint hard enough while tuning in.

If you’d like to hear the stirring, acoustic offering, you can find “Seven Psalms” here.

Who is in Paul Simon’s band?

According to Consequence, here are the artists that took the stage with Simon last spring and summer:

Caleb Burhans (viola), Jamey Haddad (percussion), Gyan Riley (guitar), Mick Rossi (piano, keys), Andy Snitzer (saxophone), Nancy Stagnita (flute), Mark Stewart (guitar), and Eugene Friesen (Cello). They added that “Steve Gadd and Matt Chamberlin will alternate on drums.”

As noted above, Simon’s wife Edie Brickell joined him on vocals.
