The all-feared sophomore slump couldn’t touch Will Cuylle.

Despite the alarming state of the Rangers last season, the 23-year-old power forward was one of the few players to have a better campaign than his last.

Not only did he more than double his point production, but Cuylle displayed the kind of growth in his game from Year 1 to Year 2 that any NHLer would take.

A top six role almost surely awaits the young Blueshirt, who is keen on continuing to excel.
