Upon hearing that he and his girlfriend have won the Nobel Prize for physics, “Big Bang Theory” protagonist and notable worrywart Sheldon Cooper begins to panic that he might be dreaming.

So, his roommate slaps his face to prove that he is awake — and Cooper’s reaction while clasping his cheek is to scream, “We won the Nobel Prize!”

We’re not advocating slapping a Knicks fan — maybe try pinching first? — but you can understand if there is a state of disbelief over a 10-game playoff winning streak that has produced the most-efficient offense in NBA history.

You can practically hear the “We’re going to be in the NBA Finals!” screams entering tonight’s chance to sweep the Cavaliers out of the Eastern Conference finals. Either way, the Knicks have up to four more chances — two at home — to win one game and reach the title round for the first time since 1999.
