Aaron Glenn welcomes more help than he had as a rookie head coach saddled with growing pains, starting with a veteran quarterback of his offense (Geno Smith) and a veteran offensive coordinator/play-caller (Frank Reich) and a veteran quarterback of his defense (Demario Davis) … and an infusion of talent on both sides of the ball as well.

“A.G. learned a lot from his first year — good, bad and ugly — and I think he wants to not just show the world but show us that he’s a guy that wants to win, he knows how to win,” new Jets safety Minkah Fitzpatrick said. “First year is always tough for any head coach, there’s a lot of adjustments. I think he’s excited to apply what he’s learned to Year 2.”

In no particular order, here are five Jets who can make a difference for Aaron Glenn:

Minkah Fitzpatrick, S

The Jets somehow failed to register a single interception in 2025. Across 120 games, Fitzpatrick brings 21 picks with him, (though just two from 2023-25). The three-time All-Pro reunites with new Jets defensive coordinator Brian Duker, a former Dolphins pass game coordinator.
