Former UCLA tennis player Kimmi Hance and Raiders guard Jackson Powers-Johnson have tied the knot.
The athlete couple held their wedding festivities in Kaua’i.
The events began with a Wimbledon-themed white welcome party for their guests on the island. The wedding was held at 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, a luxury resort located on Kaua’i’s North Shore.
The bride had multiple wedding looks, one for the ceremony and another for the reception.
Hance and Powers-Johnson went Instagram official in July 2024 and a proposal followed soon after with the Raiders guard popping the question during the team’s bye week during the 2024 NFL season.
Hance, 23, graduated from UCLA last May where she officially said goodbye to her career as a Bruin. On Instagram, the tennis star penned a heartfelt message about the four seasons at UCLA .
“Four years of wins, losses, clinches, clinch-ons, laughs, cries, and everything in between. Words can’t begin to capture how thankful I am for the journey I’ve had competing as Bruin. Representing the four letters on my chest has been one one of the greatest honors of my life,” Hance wrote on her Instagram post last May.
“To Coach Stella, Rance, GC, and Errol—thank you for believing in me, pushing me, and shaping me into the person and player I am today. To my teammates—you are my sisters for life. Thank you for the memories, the unconditional support, and screams no matter if I won or lost.
“Sad to say goodbye, but excited for the next chapter. Once a Bruin, always a Bruin.”
Powers-Johnson, a former Oregon product, is entering his third season in the NFL. Last season, he earned a 63.8 overall grade from Pro Football Focus ranking 37th out of 81 qualified guards.
Since he was drafted by the Raiders in 2024, the 23-year-old has missed significant time due to injuries. Powers-Johnson will look to retain a starting spot in 2026 with a fully healthy campaign.
