Slayer has yet to be slain.

Kerry King and Tom Araya’s heavy group recently announced that they’re going to play a trio of concerts to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their 1986 masterpiece “Reign In Blood” along with big name special guests like Down, Suicidal Tendencies, Cavalera and Hatebreed.

Their three shows are slated to go down at:

Mystic Lake Amphitheater
Shakopee, MN
Friday, Sept. 4
feat. Down, Suicidal Tendencies and Hatebreed

Kia Forum
Inglewood, CA
Friday, Nov. 13
feat. Cannibal Corpse, Cavalera and Crowbar

Kia Forum
Inglewood, CA
Saturday, Nov. 14
feat. Cannibal Corpse, Cavalera and Crowbar

According to the band’s Instagram, they’ll “perform [‘Reign In Blood’] in full.”

If you’d like to be there for these landmark performances, tickets are officially on-sale for all three concerts on Ticketmaster as of Friday, April 24. However, inventory can be scooped up on secondary market sites like StubHub and Vivid Seats now.

And, based on our findings after combing the web, the lowest price we could find on seats for their two Kia Forum gigs was $133 including fees on StubHub at the time of publication.

Prices start at $110 including fees for the Minnesota show.

As a quick refresher, “Reign In Blood” spawned massive Slayer fan favorite tracks “Angel of Death,” “Postmortem” and “Piece By Piece” among others.

“‘Reign In Blood’ is still the greatest thrash album of all time,” Kerrang! claimed in an emphatic reivew of the ensemble’s third studio album. “…it is like a rabid dog pulling on the end of its chain, frothing at the mouth, choking with anger.”

In addition to the high-profile concerts — the their two nights in Inglewood are their first in the LA area since 2019 — the thrash metal icons are also headlining Pryor, OK’s Rocklahoma, which runs Sept. 4-6 and Fort Worth, TX’s Sick New World on Saturday, Oct. 24.

For more information, our team has everything you need to know and more about Slayer’s 40th anniversary ‘Reign In Blood’ mini-tour below.
