The Jets are facing some competition for Russell Wilson — from CBS.

Wilson is in “deep” discussions with TV networks as he contemplates retirement, The Athletic reported Friday.

CBS is the favorite to land Wilson for its “The NFL Today” pregame show on Sundays, per the report.

Wilson met with the Jets recently about a role backing up Geno Smith, with the QBs previously being teammates on the Seahawks.

The free-agency market had previously been quiet on Wilson, with most teams — outside of the Steelers waiting on Aaron Rodgers — set with their quarterback situation heading into training camps.

And it now looks like the 37-year-old could be ending his illustrious career after he struggled in his brief time as the Giants’ starting quarterback last season.

Wilson started the first three games for the Giants before being benched for rookie Jaxson Dart and eventually dropped to third-string behind Jameis Winston.

Wilson led the Seahawks to a Super Bowl championship in 2014, the first in franchise history, when they dominated the Broncos at MetLife Stadium.

Wilson spent 10 seasons in Seattle before being traded to the Broncos. He had two tumultuous seasons in Denver and butted heads with Sean Payton after he took over as head coach for Wilson’s second year. Wilson then had an unremarkable season with the Steelers before signing a one-year, $10.5 million deal with the Giants.

Wilson, who is married to Grammy-winning singer Ciara, has cameoed for CBS in the past, including during the last postseason.

The Super Bowl champ would be replacing Matt Ryan, who left the network take over as the team president of the Falcons.

Adding Wilson to CBS — joining Nate Burleson, Bill Cowher and host James Brown — would be part of the changing landscape on football networks this season.

NBC has drastically changed their pregame show — “Football Night in America — with former Steelers coach Mike Tomlin stepping in and Tony Dungy, Matt Berry and Chris Simms all being removed.
