Jon Heyman has made his way to Las Vegas and is on the Strip publishing a video blog of all the GM Meetings musings. Not only are Mets fans interested in seeing what David Stearns and the Mets are up to, but so are other teams around MLB.

Jon will dive right into what exactly David Stearns meant by constantly referring to the Mets need to improve in the run prevention department during his end of season press conference. Was he referring specifically to team defense? Is pitching where Stearns will focus more instead?

On the position player front, Jon gets into the start of the Pete Alonso soap opera, wonders if second base defense is a focus, and points at Brandon Nimmo as someone whose name we may start hearing more of during the Hot Stove season.

And is the answer really more about pitching? Jon digs into just how much he thinks the Mets will be willing to either loosen the purse strings for a top starter or loosen the strings on those great prospects they have.
