The opportunity was there. 

It was relayed to Zuby Ejiofor by his agent that if he chose to test the NBA draft waters, a combine invite would be extended. 

There was only one problem: Leaving college meant leaving Rick Pitino. He wasn’t ready to do that. 

“Unfinished business, right?” the St. John’s star forward said on Tuesday at Big East media day inside the Garden. “There was still a level I could tap into in my game. I wanted to improve on the weaknesses I had last year. I wanted to leave college on the highest note possible.
