Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra’s Miami home was engulfed in flames, as seen in local news videos that showed first responders battling a massive fire Thursday.
Property records show that the home — a single-family residence in the area of Davis Road and Ponce De Leon Road — belongs to Spoelstra, according to NBC Miami.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said they were called to a fire at around 4:36 a.m.
Firefighters found “two structures on the property fully involved” in fire, and called for back up.
“Due to a partial collapse, units switched to a defensive attack, and are still working to extinguish the fire,” fire rescue said.

No injuries have been reported so far.
Local 10 News shared video believed to be Spoelstra outside the home as the fire raged and looking “visibly distraught.”
Spoelstra and his ex-wife Nikki Spoelstra — whose divorce was reportedly finalized in late 2023 — co-parent their three kids, Santiago, 6, Dante, 4, and Ruby, 2.
The Heat lost, 122-112, to the Nuggets in Denver on Wednesday.
Miami hosts the Hornets on Friday.
