The confetti has fallen, and we’re already looking towards the 2027 March Madness Tournament, where we have a new clear favorite.

Despite being eliminated from this year’s tournament in the Elite Eight, the Duke Blue Devils are your early favorites to win the 2027 March Madness Tournament, with odds coming in at +900 on Caesars Sportsbook.

Duke, as the clear favorite, is a bit surprising given their previous struggles to overcome some of the steadier teams in the bunch.

Still, the Blue Devils have a reloaded group of freshmen on the roster, with commitments coming from a trio of five-star prospects, including Deron Rippey Jr., Cameron Williams, and Bryson Howard.

Jon Scheyer’s group is also expected to retain Cayden Boozer, a top prospect and contributor to this year’s team.

Florida is another name at the top of the odds board, thanks to their expected return of multiple longtime starters, including guard Boogie Fland, who appears likely to remain with Florida for his junior season.

Fland will enter his junior season after transferring from Arkansas after his freshman year.

Betting on College Basketball?

Coach Todd Golden will surely be involved in the transfer portal, the school’s own right, and the expectation should be that the Gators are among the best teams in the nation next year.

Much further down the board are the St. John’s Red Storm, as coach Rick Pitino will have a busy offseason attempting to field an improved roster with better shooting all around the court.

Why Trust New York Post Betting

Erich Richter is a brazilian jiu-jitsu blue belt but he has a black belt in MMA betting. During the football season he’s showcased massive profits at The Post in the player prop market the last two seasons. While constantly betting long shots, his return on investment is 30.15 percent since 2022.
