The Knicks started the Mike Brown era on a solid note.

New York tipped off its season with a thrilling 119-111 win over the Cavaliers on Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden behind a full team effort.

Five Knicks scored double-digit points as OG Anunoby and Jalen Brunson led the way with 24 and 23 points, respectively.

The Knicks led by 15 points at halftime but watched that lead evaporate in the third quarter as the Cavs outscored New York, 37-22, in the frame, as the game was all even headed into the fourth.

But the Knicks remained unfazed, going on a 14-2 run to start the fourth before a timeout with 8:44 left. The two teams traded body blows down the stretch as the Cavaliers made a few runs of their own to make things interesting, but the Knicks ultimately won their first game with their new head coach.
