It is of course way too early in the game for Brian Daboll, for excited Giants fans at Saturday night’s preseason game versus the Jets at MetLife Stadium, to dream about Jaxson Dart growing one day into their Josh Allen.
For now, it appears that Daboll has bonded with his first handpicked Quarterback of the Future in a way that he never really could with Daniel Jones, in a way that he did during Josh Allen’s formative years in Buffalo.
Because Brian Daboll found a kindred spirit in Josh Allen, and I believe he has found one in Jaxson Dart.
Former Patriots offensive coordinator and Notre Dame and Kansas head coach Charlie Weis was a visitor at Wednesday’s joint practice with the Jets. He watched Dart plenty at Ole Miss because his son Charlie Jr. has been OC there under HC Lane Kiffin since December 2021.
