Heroes, zeroes and the full blitz from the Giants’ 34-17 win over the Cowboys on Sunday:

Hero

Jaxson Dart finished his rookie season in style with 230 passing yards and two touchdowns, including an improvisational backhanded shovel pass for a 29-yard touchdown to Daniel Bellinger. Dart also rushed for 32 yards.

Zero

Dak Prescott’s personal 14-game winning streak against the Giants ended in awkward fashion as he fumbled a snap and then sat out the second half despite it being a one-score game. He completed 7 of 11 passes for 70 yards.

Unsung Hero

Bobby Okereke started the game with a fumble recovery that led to a field goal and sealed the victory with an interception that led to a touchdown. He gave the Giants something to think about before making him a salary cap casualty.

Key Stat

5 Straight possessions on which the Giants scored points (three field goals and two touchdowns) as part of scoring on seven of eight to ignite a comeback.

Quote of the Day

“We can’t accept what happened this year to happen ever again.”

— Jaxson Dart on the Giants turning things around after finishing 4-13.
