The Miami Dolphins are headed in a new direction.

Following a disappointing 7-10 season, team president Tom Garfinkel cleaned house and canned head coach Mike McDaniel while starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was cut loose and signed with the Atlanta Falcons.

To make up for their absences, the franchise signed Packers quarterback Malik Willis to lead the offense and enlisted fellow Green Bay alum Jeff Hafley as his new skipper.

And, now that the 2026 NFL schedule has officially been rolled out, Dolfans finally know what year one of the Willis-Halfey (or maybe Quinn Ewers) era looks like.

Notable opponents set to visit the club’s Hard Rock Stadium include Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs (Sept. 27), Drake Maye’s AFC champion New England Patriots (Nov. 1), Jared Goff’s Detroit Lions (Nov. 8), Caleb Williams’ Chicago Bears (Dec. 13) and Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills on Jan. 3, 2027 in the final home game of the season.

Unfortunately, due to a number of factors out of their control, Miami encountered a perfect storm and ended up with the second toughest schedule of all 32 NFL teams, according to Yahoo! Sports.

“Any situation I want to go in, I want to win in everything that we do,” Hafley told former NFL star Richard Sherman on his podcast.

“I think the expectations for right now are we have to build this foundation and build this culture the right way. And I know people don’t want to hear me say that, but I think that’s really important. And then … you have to create that competition to push guys to improve every single day…we need to create that competitive way right now, and I think that’s really important.”

To make sure the squad is ready, new general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan filled major holes over the offseason after jettisoning Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Bradley Chubb, Jaelan Phillips and a slew of other core players.

Taking their place are free agent signees like wideout Tutu Atwell, offensive linebacker Joshua Uche, lineman Jamaree Salyer, receiver Jalen Tolbert and offensive tackle Charlie Heck.

Joining them are returning stars De’Von Achane, Zach Sieler, Chop Robinson and Jordyn Brooks along with standout draft picks Kadyn Proctor, Chris Johnson and Jacob Rodriguez.

If you want to dive in and root for Hafley’s new-look club live, tickets are available for all eight Miami Dolphins 2026 home games at Hard Rock Stadium on SeatGeek.

SeatGeek is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
