When the sun is shining and the birds are chirping in NYC, that can only mean one thing:
Governor’s Ball is right around the corner.
This year, the annual music festival returns to Queens’ Flushing Meadows Corona Park from June 5-7 for three days of K-Pop, Hip-Hop, rock, EDM, R&B and more.
Notable headliners atop the bill on Friday, June 5 include influential hitmaker Lorde, thoughtful rapper Baby Keem, rapidly rising girl group Katseye, post-hardcore ensemble Pierce The Veil and R&B songstress Mariah The Scientist.
Big names heading to Queens on Saturday, June 6 are beloved K-Pop boy band Stray Kids, gifted vocalist Kali Uchis, dance-y party-starters Major Lazer, avant-garde vocalist Blood Orange and indie outfit Wet Leg.
Arena headliner A$AP Rocky, funky Blackpink member Jennie, sensitive singer-songwriter Dominic Fike, 2025 “it” rockers Geese and Hip-Hop hero Clipse close out Gov Ball on Sunday, June 7.
Plus, we’d be absolutely remiss if we didn’t mention that School of Rock New York City is slated to shred, too.
In total, 60 acts are scheduled take the stage over the long weekend and notable food vendors like Shake Shack, Van Leuween Ice Cream, Prince Street Pizza, Heady Hibachi and Tacombi will be on the premises as well.
If you’d like to be there too, last-minute single and multi-day Gov Ball passes are still available.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on three-day passes was $432 including fees on SeatGeek.
Single-day passes start at $235 including fees.
“Known for its multi-genre lineup…Gov Ball once again proved why it remains one of the country’s most beloved music festivals,” We Write About Music noted in a review of the 2025 edition of the June extravaganza.
