Dunkin’ partnered with “Espresso” singer Sabrina Carpenter to launch a new drink and also touted a $5 meal deal as it seeks to boost sales heading into 2025.

The donut-and-coffee chain launched its Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso with a playful promotion Tuesday that shows the Grammy-nominated pop star “Shakin’ That Ess” while her hit tune plays in the background.

“Oh, ‘Shake That Ess’ kinda sounds like ‘Shake That A—,’” Carpenter jokes in the ad.

The video was created by Artists Equity, a production company founded by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, both of whom earlier this year starred in a Super Bowl commercial for the coffee chain.

The limited-time iced coffee drink includes espresso, “brown sugar notes” and oat milk, Dunkin’ said.

“Working with one of America’s most beloved pop stars, Sabrina Carpenter, adds a spirited, fresh energy that perfectly aligns with Dunkin’s love of bold taste and good-natured fun,” Jill McVicar Nelson, Dunkin’s chief marketing officer, said in a statement.

Dunkin’ also launched a $5 breakfast meal deal, available all day on its winter menu. The deal includes two of the chain’s savory Wake-Up Wrap sandwiches – each of which come with egg, cheese and a choice of bacon, sausage or turkey sausage – with a medium hot coffee or iced coffee.

Like rival fast-food chains, Dunkin’ is also expanding its online-only discounts.

Dunkin’ customers can enjoy a discounted $3 Maple Sugar Bacon Breakfast Sandwich with any beverage purchase through Jan. 6.

Starting Jan. 1 and lasting through the end of the month, customers will earn 100 extra bonus points for mobile orders when making online purchases on Mondays.

Also, from Jan. 21 to Jan. 27, mobile customers can order a discounted $3 Hash Brown Brisket Scramble with any beverage purchase.

McDonald’s, the world’s largest fast-food chain, found huge success with its own $5 Meal Deal, a limited-time deal which it extended multiple times. The chain followed up by adding a McValue menu through the first half of 2025.

Other fast-food chains like Wendy’s and Burger King have also launched meal deals to attract cost-conscious customers.
