On Thursday, Aug. 13, Bryce Harper’s Philadelphia Phillies and Byron Buxton’s Minnesota Twins will head to Dyersville, IA to square off in the first MLB Field of Dreams Game in four years.
If you’d like to be at the the unique, cornfield contest — the venue is adjacent to the site of the 1989 Kevin Costner film’s titular field — last-minute tickets are still available.

In the event that’s a bit too rich for your blood, we recommend catching the Tuesday, Aug. 11 game between the St. Paul Saints and Iowa Cubs at the Field of Dreams.
Tickets can be snagged for as low as $92 including fees for that minor league skirmish.
Prior to these August showdowns, the last MLB Field of Dreams game took place in August 2022 when the Reds played the Cubs at the iconic 8,000-seat venue. To meet the moment, the Reds suited up in their 1919 World Series uniforms and players entered the game from the cornfields.
Hall of Famers Johnny Bench, Andre Dawson, Ferguson Jenkins, Barry Larkins, the late Ryne Sandberg and more also sauntered in through the majestic farmland.
“As for the game itself, MLB couldn’t have done better,” Bleed Cubbie Blue reported after attending the ’22 bout.
“The setting was perfect. The game-day staff was beyond friendly and helpful, and even exiting the parking lot was easy (a lot easier than getting in!). And as if the scene couldn’t have been perfect enough on its own, in the eighth inning we were treated to the scene of a beautiful full moon rising, right over the scoreboard in right field.”
