Charlie Puth is puthing himself out there.

After extended residencies at New York City and Los Angeles’ Blue Note clubs, the 34-year-old singer announced he’ll headline at arenas all over North America on his 2026 ‘Whatever’s Clever! Tour’ from April through July.

That includes concertz at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Friday, May 29 and Atlantic City’s Hard Rock on Saturday, May 30.

He’ll be joined by special guest Ally Salort at all shows; Daniel Seavey and Lawrence are scheduled to accompany Puth on select dates.

The international run comes in support of the New Jersey native’s forthcoming fourth studio album “Whatever’s Clever,” which is due out March 6. Prior to the tour announcement, Puth dropped the sunny single “Changes.”

On Friday, Jan. 16, “Beat Yourself Up,” the second single hits the web.

“I’ve poured everything I have into this album. I can’t wait for you to hear it,” the four-time Grammy nominee — who happens to have an encyclopedic knowledge of music — shared on Instagram.

To gear up for the record release and tour, Puth put on a number of small shows at New York and Los Angeles’ Blue Note Jazz Clubs for the real “Puthers.”

At those intimate concerts, he played abbreviated, jazz-ified sets that ranged from seven to 12 songs, according to Set List FM.

Notable tracks to make the cut on select nights included “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” “Attention,” “See You Again,” “How Long” and the aforementioned “Whatever’s Clever” lead singles.

“…his Blue Note show was a return to form,” Variety noted in a rave review of one of his LA gigs.

In addition to all of the above, Puth will also perform the National Anthem at the Super Bowl in Santa Clara, CA on Sunday, Feb. 8.

Other artists set to take the stage at the 49ers home field include Bad Bunny (the halftime show), Brandi Carlile (singing “America The Beautiful”) and Coco Jones (“Lift Every Voice And Sing”).

Charlie Puth tickets become available first for a pre-sale that starts Wednesday, Jan. 14 at 10 am local time.

Tickets officially go on sale to the general public on Friday, Jan. 16 at 10 am local time through Ticketmaster but are available now on trusted secondary market sites like StubHub, Vivid Seats and GameTime.

We only recommend sites with a 100% buyer guarantee, so you know your transaction is safe and your tickets will arrive on time.

Charlie Puth new music

On Oct. 16, 2025, Puth dropped the lead single “Changes” from “Whatever’s Clever.”

The synth-y, three-minute jam evokes personal yet serious — if a bit cheesy — ’80s pop. However, Puth is too savvy a musician to turn in something rote and finds a hook-y, hummable chorus “there’s been some changes in our life, oh/I can feel the distance/space and time has made everything different” that will stick in your craw for months on end.

His second single, the dance-y, disco-esque “Beat Yourself Up” hasn’t officially hit airwaves yet but you can hear a preview on Instagram in the interim (that Puth lip-syncs in a drab, empty office).

Charlie Puth special guests

As noted above, Ally Salort will open all ‘Whatever’s Clever’ shows; Daniel Seavey and Lawrence are performing with Puth on select dates. To make sure you’re familiar with their work, here’s each artist’s most-streamed song on Spotify.

Ally Salort: “Pretty Face”

Daniel Seavey: “Sleeping With The Lights On”

Lawrence: “Do You Wanna Do Nothing With Me?”
