Teddy Swims is heading into uncharted waters.

The powerful soul singer just announced his 2026 ‘The Ugly Tour’ that includes a North American leg that will send him and his backing band Freak Freely to arenas all over the U.S. and Canada from September through November.

That includes a stop at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Friday, Oct. 2.

These shows come on the heels of Swims’ spring dates at a handful of arenas, performing arts centers, coliseums, parks and festivals.

While on that quick jaunt, he’s slated to swing into Canandaigua, NY’s Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center on Friday, June 5.

As of now, the festival portion of Swims’ lengthy 2026 outing is already underway. The “Lose Control” singer lent his talents to Coachella on April 10. Set List FM reported that he performed ten songs on an apartment-like stage where special guests would ring the doorbell to join him. This fun gimmick led to covers of the Jonas Brothers‘ “When You Look Me in the Eyes” with Joe Jonas, “A Thousand Miles” alongside Vanessa Carlton and Van Halen’s “Jump” featuring David Lee Roth.

He also debuted his new single “Mr. Know It All” and trotted out hits “The Door,” “Hammer to the Heart” and, of course, “Lose Control.”

Swims, 33, also confirmed that “this the end of the ‘I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy’ era” in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Although we can’t confirm what the Atlanta native will deliver with his next album and tour, he shared “everything we’re trying to go for visually and creatively is leaning back into more roots of metal, punk, and grunge. It touches that space I came from.”

On that note, he did add that “there are still more soulful things and more R&B-leaning things on the album. I haven’t completely removed myself from that area of my heart.”

Tickets officially go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 24 at 10 am local time through Ticketmaster but are available now on trusted secondary market sites like StubHub and Vivid Seats.

We only recommend sites with a 100% buyer guarantee, so you know your transaction is safe and your tickets will arrive on time.

Teddy Swims new music

On April 9, Teddy Swims released the single “Mr. Know It All.”

The song has a comforting, timeless sound that will put you at ease even before Swims’ robust vocals kick in. And once they do, it’s game over. As noted above, he embraces his soulful roots here while also heading in a slightly more pop direction. Put this one on while cooking. andyou’ll be bopping along in no time.

If you’d like to hear for yourself, you can find “Mr. Know It All” here.

For those hoping to dig deeper down the rabbit hole, click here to check out Teddy Swims’ compete discography.

Marc Scibilia

Before taking the stage, audiences will be treated to singer-songwriter Marc Scibilia at his June non-festival shows.

The 39-year-old Buffalo native mixes soul, folk and pop — while adding a dash of country — to create a sound all of his own.

In the event you’re not familiar with his work, we recommend checking out the upbeat “Unforgettable,” stripped-down “More To This” and his stirring cover of The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony.”

Want to dive even deeper? You can find Marc Scibilia’s entire back catalog here.

Freak Freely

FYI, Swims’ backing band is known as Freak Freely.

The five-piece that brings Swims’ singular voice to life is made up of pianist/keyboardist Jairus Hardge, guitarist Addy Maxwell, guitarist Jesse Hampton, guitarist Christian Griswold, and drummer DeAndre Hemby.
