This is the Knicks’ best shot at an NBA title in more than three decades.

At least according to oddsmakers.

After going up 2-0 on the Cavaliers, the Knicks are +375 at Caesars Sportsbook to take home the Larry O’Brien Trophy.

Those are the best odds the Knicks have had to win it all since before the 1994 NBA Finals, when the Rockets heartbreakingly took them down in seven games, according to Sports Odds History.

A year after that, the Knicks were as low as +450 before opening night, but ended the season with a gut-wrenching loss to the Pacers in seven games during the semifinal round.

Not even the Cinderella, Patrick Ewing-less 1999 Knicks team had as good of a chance to win a championship in the eyes of Vegas bookies.

That team was just +600 against the Spurs, who took the series handily en route to the first title of the Tim Duncan era.

Last year, the Knicks were never better than +375 despite being favored over the Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals before Indiana pulled off the upset.

The Knicks’ championship odds have steadily dropped during this ridiculous playoff run, falling from +2200 before Round 1 to where they are now.

But they likely won’t move much further with who is waiting on the other side of the bracket.

If they’re able to take care of Cleveland, a potential Finals matchup with the Thunder or Spurs would almost definitely still leave the Knicks in underdog territory.

Betting on the NBA?

After a Game 3 win for OKC, the Thunder are a -190 favorite to win the championship.

Even though they’re down in the series, the Spurs are still +450 to be the Finals winner, suggesting oddsmakers expect the NBA Finals winner to come out of the West.
