‘Yellowstone’ may be over, but we haven’t seen the last of the Dutton family on our TV screens.

“1923,” the “Yellowstone” prequel on Paramount+, returns for a second season tomorrow, Feb. 23. Starring Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford, the series is set in 1923, of course, and focuses on the generation of Duttons before Kevin Costner’s John Dutton III is born.

It follows the Duttons as they endure hardships related to prohibition, an impending financial collapse, and more. And just like John Dutton III did, they’ll have to defend their ranch from politicians and elite businessmen to keep it in the family.

Season 2 will focus on Mirren and Ford’s Cara and Jacob Dutton, as well as their nephew, who they raised, Spencer (Brandon Sklenar). Spencer, a war hero, will spend Season 2 waiting to reunite with his British wife Alexandra (Julia Schlaepfer), who was separated from him on their journey back to America from Africa and now must explore unknown lands to make her way back to him.

“1923” will have a weekly release; here’s how to tune in to the season premiere.

When ‘1923’ Season 2 premiere?

Season 2 of “1923” premieres Sunday, Feb. 23.

What time do new episodes of ‘1923’ come out?

New episodes of “1923” come out every Sunday at midnight ET (9:00 p.m. PT on Saturday).

How to watch ‘1923’ for free:

“1923” is an original series on Paramount+, so you’ll need a subscription to stream new episodes.

Paramount+ offers two plans, both of which include “1923.” The ad-supported plan costs $7.99/month, while the ad-free plan costs $12.99/month. If you subscribe through Amazon Prime Video Channels, you can take advantage of a seven-day free trial to watch the series.

How does this work?

First, you’ll need to be an Amazon Prime member (but if you aren’t, you can get started with a 30-day free trial). From there, you can add a Paramount+ subscription to your Prime Video membership.

‘1923’ cast guide:

Here’s who you can expect to see on “1923” Season 2, and how they connect to characters in the greater “Yellowstone” universe.

  • Helen Mirren as Cara Dutton, the wife of Jacob Dutton, who raised John Sr. and Spencer Dutton
  • Harrison Ford as Jacob Dutton, the patriarch of the Dutton family and the older brother of James Dutton (played by Tim McGraw in “1883”)
  • Brandon Sklenar as Spencer Dutton, the younger son of James and Margaret Dutton
  • Julia Schlaepfer as Alexandra, a woman from the British upper class who encounters Spencer in Africa
  • Jerome Flynn as Banner Creighton, a Scottish sheepherder
  • Darren Mann as Jack Dutton, John Dutton Sr.’s son and only child, James Dutton’s grandson, and great-nephew to Jacob Dutton
  • Isabel May as Elsa Dutton, who serves as the main narrator in the series
  • Brian Geraghty as Zane Davis, the loyal ranch foreman of Dutton Ranch
  • Aminah Nieves as Teonna Rainwater, a rebellious young woman from the Crow people
  • Michelle Randolph as Elizabeth “Liz” Strafford, Jack Dutton’s fiancée
  • Timothy Dalton as Donald Whitfield, a powerful business tycoon

‘1923’ episode guide:

At the time of publishing, Paramount+ has not confirmed how many episodes “1923” Season 2 will air. Season 1 had eight episodes, so it’s likely a similar number.
