“16 and Pregnant” star Whitney Purvis has paid tribute to her 16-year-old son, Weston, after his shocking death earlier this week.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the former reality star wrote that she “will always cherish our memories together” in the wake of Weston’s sudden passing.

“I will always cherish our memories together,” Purvis, 33, began. “The songs you use to love, your laugh, the phases you would go through, the little dolphin noise you use to do when you were younger, your smile, your jokes, the first day of school, playing with you, your first time swimming, making crafts, how you would dance in your crib to the law and order svu theme song, being a great big brother, the first time I held you and the last hug I gave you.”

“I love you, Weston more than words could ever describe,” she added alongside two pictures of her and her late son. “Rest in peace, my beautiful boy.”

Purvis, who appeared on MTV’s “16 and Pregnant” in 2009, announced her teenage son’s “nightmare” death on June 2.

“This is so hard to write. My beautiful son, Weston has passed away,” Purvis wrote on Facebook. “He was only 16 years old. Life is so cruel and unfair. I just don’t understand.”

“Oh my baby is gone and I don’t know what to do with myself. He was so perfect,” she continued. “This is really my worst nightmare come true.”

“How do you go on in life after losing a child? I’m in disbelief, this cannot be happening,” Purvis added. “I don’t want it to be real. I would do anything just to hold him. Words just can’t describe the pain I am feeling.”

“God, I love you so much. You are my heart. I was so proud of the young man you were becoming. I just can’t go on without you,” she concluded the heartbreaking post. “Rest in Peace, my angel. You are gone too soon. April 2, 2009 – June 2, 2025.”

Although she didn’t reveal Weston’s cause of death, his stepmom, Amy Gosa, said that the 16-year-old had been battling diabetes and “several health issues” before his death.

She also confirmed that an autopsy would be conducted.

“Its really difficult to write this but this morning little Weston passed away,” Gosa wrote in her own Facebook post. “We do not know the cause, they will do an autopsy soon but all we know is we got up this morning around 7 am and tried to wake him up, he was not breathing, we attempted cpr and called an ambulance.”

Purvis and her ex-boyfriend, Weston Gosa Sr., shared both Weston and a second son, River, who was born in 2014. Whitney Purvis / Facebook

“The paramedics attempted it as well and took him to the hospital in Gordon County where he was pronounced dead,” she added alongside three photos of Weston. “He had several health issues as well as diabetes.”

Purvis and her then-boyfriend, Weston Gosa Sr., welcomed Weston during the first season of “16 and Pregnant” in April 2009.

They broke up after Weston was born, but got back together and welcomed a second son, River, in 2014, before splitting again.

The former reality star shared several Facebook posts following her son’s tragic passing on Monday, June 2. Whitney Purvis / Facebook

One year before Weston’s tragic passing, Purvis lost custody of him and River after she allegedly failed to make child support payments, according to TMZ.

“Rest in Peace, my baby Weston,” Purvis wrote in a second Facebook post hours after her son’s tragic passing. “I love you forever, precious.”

“I’ll never understand why life has to be so cruel,” she added. “You’ll always be my baby.”
