Of course, those are not the 94 they will ultimately be judged upon. These are the Yankees, after all, with the history and the payroll and Aaron Judge and no title since 2009. So they will win 14 more games this year or the final grade will be a fail.
But that is for Tuesday, when the Yankees begin a best-of-three in The Bronx against the Red Sox.
