Yankees left-hander Carlos Rodon “probably” will miss the start of the 2026 season after undergoing an arthroscopic surgery Wednesday on his left elbow, manager Aaron Boone said at his end-of-season press conference on Thursday at Yankee Stadium.

The surgery was done to clean up loose bodies in the elbow and shave down a bone spur, according to Boone.

“Probably delays him a couple of weeks to start the season,” Boone said.

The procedure was done by noted surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache.

The 32-year-old is coming off his best season as a Yankee, going 18-9 with a 3.09 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 203 strikeouts in 33 starts.

He also earned his third career All-Star nod, his first in pinstripes.

However, Rodon got lit up in Game 3 of the ALDS against the Blue Jays, giving up six runs on six hits and two walks in 2 ⅓ innings. The Yankees went on to win the game 9-6 but were eliminated in Game 4.

He has three years remaining on a six-year, $162 million contract.
