It did ‘Wicked’ good.

“Wicked: For Good,” flew its broomstick into first place on its box office debut on Friday, earning $68.68 million, according to The Numbers.

The sequel to last year’s “Wicked” was “an emotional and elongated version of the Broadway musical’s second act,” The Post said.

“It’s been such an incredible ride and an incredible experience to create with people we love so much and respect so much creatively, but also who just have such great hearts,” Ariana Grande, who plays Glinda, told E! News at the film’s NYC premiere at Lincoln Center on Monday.

The musical fantasy is slated to enjoy a $151.5 million dollar weekend opening, as per Deadline.

In second place was “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t” on its second Friday in theaters, moving down a notch from last weekend, with sales of $2.4 million.

The heist flick, which reportedly cost $90 million to produce, is expected to earn a three-day total of $9.45 million this weekend.

“Predator: Badlands,” remained in third, with a $1.7 million take on its third Friday in theaters, and is estimated to reel in $6.2 million in total this weekend.

In fourth was “The Running Man,” down two spots from last week, with $1.665 million in revenue.

“Rental Family,” the comedy-drama starring Brendan Fraser, landed in fifth on its first day in theaters Friday, with sales of $1.2 million.

Set in Tokyo, The Post called the film “a heartwarming jewel of a movie that is a dazzling showcase of Japan’s urban and natural beauty,” and Fraser “as terrific as you’d hope him to be” in his role as an American actor-turned-father-for-hire working for a “rental family” agency.

To prep for the part, Fraser took Japanese lessons, its director Hikari said in a behind-the-scenes video posted by Searchlight Pictures.

“He was like, ‘I’m in.’ So he took classes three or four times a week,” she said.

In the clip, Fraser’s co-star, Mari Yamamoto, spoke on what it was like to work with the Academy Award winner.

“He’s exactly what you hope he’d be,” she gushed.

“Kind and generous to everybody. Acting with him is like really knowing somebody is going to catch you when you fall.”

“I was looking for that perfect actor to play the role,” Hikari added.

“I’ve always been a big fan of Brendan. I mean, who isn’t?”
