The usual Monday Mourning for the Giants has been replaced by something they hope becomes a more frequent weekly ritual: Monday Mirth.
For a team that lost its first three games this season and, going back to last season, fell short in 14 of its last 15 games, being able to look back on a 21-18 victory over the Chargers allowed for relief in all corners of the locker room.

Constant losing creates a sense that every mistake, every missed opportunity, every play almost made is the dagger that inflicts the mortal wound. Sprinkle in a win, and the realization sets in that victories also include missed opportunities that the team is able to overcome. After all, overcoming is a big part of what the most-games-are-close NFL is all about.
