Joel Sherman stepped up to the mic from Yankee Stadium with a fresh 3 Things I Think video immediately following Brian Cashman and Aaron Boone’s 2025 postmortem press conference.

Atop Joel’s mind is the fact that not much is changing for the Pinstripes. It seems the Yankees are poised to put the same, if not a similar band back together in the Bronx and you’re definitely going to want to click on the video to hear Sherman’s suggestion for said band’s name.

Secondly, as The Post first reported exclusively Wednesday, Anthony Volpe underwent left shoulder surgery for labrum repair. Joel referenced in his last video that the Yankees should show patience with the 24-year old and as he spins it forward following the presser, it seems the Yankees share a similar sentiment in hopes of Volpe’s future. Sherman will also touch on what the Yanks will do at the position in the interim.

Finally, some actual new news from Cashman and Boone was not great news for Yankees fans. Carlos Rodon will miss the start of the 2026 season, having had loose bodies removed and a bone spur shaved down in his pitching elbow. Joel tells us what the Yankees starting rotation will look like come April. He will hint on why the Yankees may need to get creative this off-season and bring in another starting pitcher.
