Florida's Caleb Banks could be an option in the 2026 NFL Draft for the Jets who could use a pass-rushing defensive lineman.

The Jets did a lot of work on this position in the offseason, trading for T’Vondre Sweat and signing David Onyemata, so this is not a position of desperate need.

I still think they could add an athletic pass-rushing lineman, though.

They are missing that after trading Quinnen Williams to the Cowboys last year.

The second round feels like a sweet spot for defensive tackles.

Could the Jets use the No. 33 pick on whoever doesn’t go in the first round?

What if Peter Woods of Clemson or Kayden McDonald of Ohio State is sitting there?

Florida’s Caleb Banks is an intriguing player.

He is probably a first-round talent but foot injuries might push him into Day 2.

The Jets also could look to add depth at the position in the late rounds of the draft. They don’t have a lot of long-term answers here.
