So, when Sam Darnold led the Seahawks to the NFC Championship on Sunday night, the LOL Jets jokes were flowing.
Maybe everyone needs a reminder of why the Jets had to move on from Darnold when they did in the spring of 2021.
It was not working here and there was no sign that it was going to work here anytime soon. Do you want to argue that the Jets should have kept Darnold until 2024 when he played well for the Vikings? It’s not realistic to ask a franchise to wait seven years for a quarterback to develop.
