Justin Herbert surprised the world when he appeared in his girlfriend Madison Beer’s music video “lovergirl”

The Chargers have watched their franchise quarterback become much more of a public figure as his relationship with the pop star evolves.

“It shows he’s stud number one. He’s in music videos now,” Chargers GM Joe Hortiz said on the “Up & Adams” show. “He’s in a great spot with her. That’s his personal life.”

In the music video, Herbert and Beer are shown hugging, kissing, dancing, and being playful with one another.

Herbert and Beer have caught the world by storm since they went public with their relationship in October.

Herbert was always known to avoid the public spotlight and keep his personal life to himself, but that has changed with Beer.

Adams asked Hortiz about watching Herbert transition from a quiet and reserved person to someone dating an A-list celebrity who is constantly in the spotlight.

“Listen, I have a wife,” Hortiz said. “You find someone you love and you wanna be around them.”

Hortiz didn’t just praise Herbert for being public with his relationship; he also praised other players on the roster for getting married and showing support to their significant others.

“You’re happy for Justin. All the guys,” Hortiz said. “We had some guys get married this offseason, hit their honeymoons. It’s great for all of them.”

Herbert was spotted with Beer and her parents in Amsterdam this week at a Harry Styles concert this week Like Styles, Beer will be performing Europe as well to kick off the European portion of “The Locket Tour,” which started in Amsterdam on Thursday.

The Chargers have their next voluntary OTAs beginning on May 26 with Herbert believed to have missed the past two sessions.
