Troubled talk show diva Wendy Williams made a surprising live call to “Good Day New York” telling host Rosanna Scotto that she was evaluated for mental acuity and “passed” – one day after being rushed to the hospital from her Lenox Hill assisted living facility, Fox5 reported.

“I passed with flying colors,” Williams told Scotto. “I want [to be] independently tested. That’s what I want, and that’s what I got.”

“Look, it’s not that I’m scared to talk,” she added. “It’s just under these circumstances, there are certain people that I don’t care to talk to or talk about, you know what I’m saying.”

Williams, 60, was taken to the hospital by ambulance at 11:15 a.m. Monday after dropping a note from her fifth-floor room at the facility with the words, “Help! Wendy!” scribbled on it. She also waved to a Post staffer from her window in an apparent plea for help.

She has been confined to the memory ward at the facility while fighting a guardianship that controls her money – and keeps her a virtual prisoner, she said.

Williams told Scotto she’s forced to remain on the fifth floor, and needs an escort even to go to the gym on the third floor.

The “Good Day New York” host asked Williams — who was joined on the phone by a friend identified only as “Gina” — if she would accept being assigned a “sober companion” and a financial advisor if she were allowed to leave the facility.

“As far as a sober companion, I don’t need that,” Williams said. “I am not drinking, ever in my life. A financial advisor, I’ve had that. A financial advisor? Of course, of course a financial advisor, somebody to look after my money. Because the money that I have right now is all with my guardian person.”

She said she was waiting to see her lawyer.
