Denver Broncos (-1.5) over INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

Week 1 is tailor made for overreactions.

Take Daniel Jones and the Colts.

Indianapolis destroyed the mess that is the Miami Dolphins, blowing them out, 33-8.

Now, the Colts are suddenly a trendy playoff darkhorse in the AFC.

Are we forgetting how bad Jones was for the Giants last season?

Not to mention how much of a train wreck the Dolphins have been dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, the Broncos’ defense was as advertised during Week 1, holding the Titans to just 133 total yards during a 20-12 win.

Expect Jones and Co. to come back to earth Sunday and drop one on their home field.

CINCINNATI BENGALS (-3.5) over Jacksonville Jaguars

Here’s another team that had a cupcake Week 1 matchup.

The Jags hosted the Panthers on Sunday and took care of business, but it wasn’t the prettiest of games for the home team.

Trevor Lawrence threw for just 178 yards, including only one connection with Brian Thomas Jr., although that was a nine-yard touchdown pass.

Betting on the NFL?

Travis Ettiene Jr. was one of Jacksonville’s only true bright spots, running for 143 yards, but nearly half of those came on a monster 71-yard gain.

In the end, three Bryce Young turnovers were the biggest difference in the game, giving the Jaguars good enough field position to put up 26 points.

You can’t count giveaways against Joe Burrow and the rest of this Cincinnati offense.

Look for the notoriously slow starting Bengals to be much more formidable in Week 2 after a sloppy victory over the Browns to start the season.
