Tyrone Tracy Jr. is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Saints, but the second-year running back made it back to the Giants practice field on a limited basis Friday at the team’s Meadowlands facility.

Tracy, the Giants leading rusher as a rookie one year ago with 839 yards, has been sidelined since suffering a dislocated right shoulder in the first quarter of a Week 3 loss to Kansas City.

“We’ll see what he does today, but he’s feeling a lot better,” Giants coach Brian Daboll said before practice.

Rookie fourth-round pick Cam Skattebo has received the bulk of the work in Tracy’s absence, with 121 combined yards against the Chiefs and a career-high 79 on the ground on 25 carries in last week’s win over the Chargers.

Veteran running back Devin Singletary has totaled just 15 rushes for 52 yards through four games.

Defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence II has not practiced this week due to an illness, but Daboll expects him to play Sunday in New Orleans. He officially has been listed as questionable.

“Dex is still sick. … We’re not going to practice him. He should be ready to go, though,” Daboll said. “I think he’s kind of getting over it right now.

“Again, we won’t practice him today, but he’s done a little bit inside with the trainers. … Knock on wood, he should be good to go.”

Daboll on tight end Theo Johnson, who caught a 3-yard shovel pass last week for the first touchdown toss of rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart’s career: “Theo’s a second-year guy that battled through some injuries. He has a good relationship with Jaxson. Tough, competitive. He’s a good young player.”

Safety Tyler Nubin (groin) and linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (hamstring) also have been listed as questionable.

Defensive end Chase Young (calf) is out and quarterback Taysom Hill (knee) is questionable for the Saints.
