There is a scene in the movie “Draft Day” in which Browns general manager Sonny Weaver Jr. is revisiting trade discussions during the NFL draft.
When a recent offer is brought back to him, he says that proposal has changed.
“We live in a different world than we did just 30 seconds ago,” Weaver tells the other general manager.
It feels that way with college basketball. It is a different world.
