This Giants legend won’t miss Dexter Lawrence one bit.

Tiki Barber, the franchise’s all-time leading rusher, blasted the disgruntled Lawrence after he was traded last week to the Cincinnati Bengals for the No. 10 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

“I don’t know if I said this on air or if I said (this) in one of the chats: good riddance,” Barber, who starred for the team from 1997-2006, said alongside co-host Evan Roberts on their WFAN show.

“Get — send him out of here. Can’t get him out of here quick enough.”

Lawrence had been upset with the Giants’ front office over his contract.

Though head coach John Harbaugh is the new sheriff in town, he is attempting to get his type of player and change a locker room culture that has become accustomed to losing.

Barber referred back to his playing days with legendary Giants coach Tom Coughlin when discussing the addition by subtraction of Lawrence.

“Anytime a new coach takes over a team — when Tom Coughlin came and took over for Jim Fassel, that coach needs to get his type of player into the clubhouse,” Barber added.

“Sometimes when you don’t do that immediately or within the first year or so, you end up having all of these weird connections and voices and direction and you can’t control it.”

The comment is interesting coming from Barber, as he was arguably not the right player for Coughlin’s locker room, considering he unceremoniously retired after the 2006 season.

Barber ruffled some feathers after his departure from the Giants, adding that Coughlin “pushed me in the direction of television” after he left the team.

Before the 2007 season, Barber also called Eli Manning’s leadership “almost comical,” which made tons of headlines at the time.

The Giants then went on a wild run to the Super Bowl as Barber watched from afar.

Harbaugh and the Giants could only hope for a fraction of that success in 2026.
