Rocky Bridges would never have been confused with Aaron Glenn, except for two possible things. Bridges hit .247 in parts of 11 big league seasons with seven clubs. He was known for the big chaw of Beech-Nut tobacco he housed in his cheek and the laugh-out-loud quips that would roll off his tongue.
A three-time Pro Bowler, Glenn was a lot better football player than Bridges was a baseball player. If he favors a chaw or a smoke now and then, he seems to keep it to himself, and he’s never exactly been confused with Kevin Hart in the realm of laugh-out-loud funny.
