The NFL trade deadline arrives in a week, and the Jets, at 1-7 with no hope for a playoff berth, no quarterback of the future and in the midst of their umpteenth rebuild, will get calls inquiring about the handful of commodities on their roster.

Running back Breece Hall, a free agent after this season, his fourth since the Jets drafted him in the second round in 2022, is one of their most coveted assets.

As teams maneuver to make moves up to the Tuesday deadline, the last impression of Hall will be the 133 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries he delivered in Sunday’s 39-38 comeback victory over the Bengals in Cincinnati.

It was a hell of an impression.
