Monday marked a bittersweet day for the WNBA. 

Tilman Fertitta’s family, owners of the NBA’s Houston Rockets, reached an agreement to buy the Connecticut Sun, the Mohegan Tribe confirmed.

The deal is pending WNBA approval, but all signs point to it becoming official soon, in time to relocate the franchise to Houston for 2027. 

On one hand, this is great news, right?
