You now have a chance to hold Plaxico Burress’ historic Super Bowl moment in your own hands.

The former Giants star receiver is selling the football he caught in Super Bowl 2008, which gave the Giants a 17-14 win over the then-undefeated Patriots in one of the greatest upsets in NFL history.

With the Giants trailing 14-10 in the waning minutes of the fourth quarter after David Tyree’s iconic “Helmet Catch,” Eli Manning found Burress for the historic go-ahead touchdown.

The ball, which Burress said referees didn’t get the chance to switch out, has remained in the receiver’s New Jersey living room for 18 years.

The famous pigskin is now up for auction on Sotheby’s for an estimated $100,000-$200,000, with no reserve pricing.

“Few footballs in the history of the game carry the weight of this one. This is the ball from the final touchdown of Super Bowl XLII, the play that put the Giants ahead 17-14 and sealed one of the most stunning upsets the sport has ever seen over the New England Patriots,” the listing reads. “It comes directly from Plaxico Burress, the man who hauled in Eli Manning’s pass for the game-winning score.”

After scoring the game-winning touchdown to end the Patriots’ perfect season, however, Burress’ career went downhill quickly, as he served 20 months in prison after pleading guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon after shooting himself in the leg at a nightclub in 2008.

Following a two-year NFL hiatus, Burress returned to the league in 2011 with the Jets, where he posted 612 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.

Before the Super Bowl catch, Burress was known for his Steelers tenure, where he tallied two 1,000-yard-plus seasons.
