You know the old “patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet” saying?

Yeah, well, we think it is wrong. “Bitter” doesn’t properly describe the anxiety and frustration of waiting.

When you need help now but that help isn’t coming until later, that patience can taste more rancid than bitter, making the wait more caustic than just comfortable.

This might be what is leaving a bad taste in your mouth this week if you have or acquired Jakobi Meyers or Rashid Shaheed on your fantasy team.
