A Mississippi college student was arrested for allegedly hurling an antisemitic comment at Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy as he filmed a pizza review, according to authorities and reports.

Patrick McClintock, 20, was arrested Monday after a viral video allegedly captured him yelling, “F–k the Jews” toward Portnoy, who is Jewish, as he filmed a “One Bite” pizza review in Starkville on Friday, The Starkville Police Department confirmed to the Reflector, Mississippi State University’s student newspaper.

McClintock was a junior and a mechanical engineering major at Mississippi State University, the university’s campus paper reported.

He voluntarily withdrew from MSU as a student on Monday afternoon, a university spokesperson confirmed to The Post.

McClintock was hit with a misdemeanor charge of disturbing the peace. A warrant for his arrest had been issued over the weekend, police told the outlet.

He was processed and later released after his bond was set at $2,500, cops added

“Why don’t you come in the camera, buddy?” Portnoy jeered at the heckler while gesturing at him to come closer after he hurled the remark in front of Boardtown Pizza & Pints, according to a video posted on X.

McClintock then allegedly walked up to Portnoy and his cameraman to have a face-to-face exchange before the heckler walked away.

“F–k you, get out of here,” one person yelled toward McClintock, who allegedly made the antisemitic comment.

“That was awful,” a woman can be heard saying in the video.

Portnoy said he deals with antisemitic attacks “every day,” and commended what he described as a “definitive shift” in the national climate in a preview of an interview with CBS anchor Tony Dokoupil airing Sunday.

“I’ve seen in my own experience, just being Barstool, the difference between how much hate I get. I never got — I mean, occasionally you get ‘Hey k–e’ or ‘Jew’ or whatever,” Portnoy told Dokoupil.

“It’s every day now,” he added. “There’s a definitive shift in what’s going on.”

A person similarly yelled “F–k the Jews” at Portnoy while he was filming a review outside Terrazza in Toronto over the summer.

“Every person has the right to feel safe and respected in our community,” Starkville Police Department said in a statement to the outlet.

“Offensive words alone are protected, but when behavior disrupts a public event or risks violence, the Starkville Police Department will take steps to help maintain safety and security.”

The Starkville Police Department did not immediately respond to noti.group’s request for comment.
