Micah Parsons has found the light at the end of the tunnel with the Packers after a “super toxic” finish to his Cowboys career.

Speaking to reporters Sunday following his first victory in Green Bay — a resounding 27-13 win over the divisional rival Lions — the star edge rusher revealed just how taxing the past few months have been amid the contentious contract standoff in Dallas, which concluded in August when the Cowboys dealt Parsons to the NFC North contender.

“These last six months was super draining, super toxic for everyone. It’s something that I don’t think no player should have to go through,” Parsons said from Lambeau Field, according to The Athletic.

” … The fact that I was traded a week before the season was really outrageous and rough. It’s something where I could’ve been with these guys getting better and better, and we could’ve had probably (an) even more dominant start.”

Parsons, 26, had been seeking a new deal from the Cowboys as he was entering the 2025 season on the final year of his rookie contract.

Matters quickly turned ugly, with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones taking public shots at the four-time Pro Bowler, who requested a trade in early August.

The Cowboys acquired two first-round picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark from the Packers as part of the Parsons deal, with Jones, 82, stating the blockbuster move “was in the best interest of our organization.”

Parsons, the recipient of a four-year, $188 million contract extension from the Packers, said Sunday his teammates have “embraced” him as they work toward a Super Bowl-sized goal.

“They believe in my talents. They believed in me and I’m just gonna give these guys everything I have because I know what’s at stake and I know what they gave up for me to be here and I’mma do what it takes for us to win,” said Parsons, who recorded a sack against the Lions.

The Packers host the Commanders this week on “Thursday Night Football, and they’ll visit Parsons’ former Cowboys team on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 4.

The Cowboys dropped their season opener Thursday to the Eagles, 24-20.
