MGK is doing a victory lap over Conor McGregor’s loss to Max Holloway at UFC 329 over the weekend.
The fight against Max Holloway on Saturday in Las Vegas marked McGregor’s highly anticipated return to UFC after five years, but it ended after just 69 seconds due to a knee injury McGregor suffered landing awkwardly on a roundhouse kick.
Their beef began at the 2021 VMAs, where the pair had an altercation on the red carpet.
MGK, 36, posted a photo of the VMAs encounter as well as several clips in his Instagram carousel and went after McGregor directly.
“Knees weak of old age, the real Conor can’t stand up @thenotoriousmma,” the caption read, alongside a clown emoji.
MGK followed up with a second Instagram post, this one a video of him mocking McGregor’s injury and insulting him several more times.

“I’m aware I did a post yesterday and I should probably apologize for absolutely nothing, homie. F–k this dude, that’s how beef works, We don’t like each other,” he said. “… We don’t age the same, my knees are awesome.
“… Where the f–k is the rest of the footage where we toss this little guy like a piece of dirty drawls across the red carpet?” he continued, referring to the VMAs altercation. “That’s why all the footage starts with him far away.”
Some commenters criticized MGK blasting McGregor after the injury, but MGK didn’t stand down.
He ended his tirade with a touch of sarcasm.
“Thank you for the walkout being longer than the fight. You wasting everyone’s time. It’s pissing me off.”
Shortly after their first encounter at the VMAs five years ago, where McGregor allegedly threw a punch at MGK, McGregor said he wanted MGK to come to his next fight.
It appears the goodwill wasn’t mutual.
McGregor, who has one fight left on his UFC deal, said he will require knee surgery and hopes to return to the octagon after he recovers.
