The Mets’ youth movement continues.
Outfield prospect Nick Morabito is getting called up to the majors from Triple-A Syracuse, noti.group’s Mike Puma confirmed Tuesday morning.
It’s the corresponding move for Austin Slater getting designated for assignment, which noti.group’s Jon Heyman first reported earlier Tuesday.
Morabito, 23, will give the Mets three rookie outfielders after Carson Benge made the team out of spring training as their starting right fielder and A.J. Ewing came up last week to play center.
The outfielder is ranked as the 11th-best prospect in the Mets’ system by MLB.com, and is best known for his speed.
He stole 49 bases in 118 games with Double-A Binghamton last year while hitting .273 with a .348 on-base percentage.
In 41 games for Syracuse this year, Morabito has 14 steals, a .253 average and .364 OBP.

Morabito, who has primarily played center but has experience in the corner outfield spots, is already on the 40-man roster.
Slater’s ouster cleared a 40-man roster spot for lefty Zach Thornton, who is getting called up to pitch for the Mets on Wednesday.
He’ll either start or pitch in a bulk relief role.
