Megyn Kelly took a shot at President Biden’s leadership ability, claiming that Barack and Michelle Obama are really running the country as part of a “shadow puppet situation.”

“There are a lot of people who think the Obamas are already running the government and that there is some sort of shadow puppet situation going on that they’re controlling,” Kelly said during an appearance on the cable news channel Newsmax on Tuesday.

“There’s been questions from the beginning — is it Joe Biden really making the calls?”

When reached for comment, a White House spokesperson told The Post: “Who is Megan Kelley? Is she a Whole Foods employee?”

Aside from disparaging Kelly, the email misspelled the name of longtime news anchor and host of her own popular podcast.

Kelly joined Newsmax host Eric Bolling to discuss the upcoming presidential election and raised the idea that Democrats were secretly hoping the former First Lady will replace the 80-year-old Biden on the ticket — as many in his own party show concern about Biden’s apparent mental decline.

“I think Michelle Obama is seen as a savior figure by the Democrats who think she’s the most beautiful person ever,” said Kelly, who hosts SiriusXM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show.”

“They think she’s the strongest leader. They think she’s their big hope.”

Kelly laughed off that notion, saying Republicans would be motivated to vote in droves against her.

She also ridiculed the idea that GOP supporters would be opposed to voting for her because of her race.

“No, it’s because you don’t like America,” Kelly said of Michelle Obama, citing a comment she made after her husband first decided to run the president.

“For the first time in my life, I’m really proud of my country,” Kelly quoted Michelle Obama as saying.

Michelle Obama later clarified the remark, saying: “What I was clearly talking about was that I’m proud in how Americans are engaging in the political process.”

“For the first time in my lifetime, I’m seeing people rolling up their sleeves in a way that I haven’t seen and really trying to figure this out — and that’s the source of pride that I was talking about,” Michelle Obama said in February 2008.

During her Newsmax appearance, Kelly also hit out at Michelle Obama for saying that she recently stopped straightening her hair — a habit she picked up during Barack Obama’s presidency because she was concerned Americans “weren’t ready” for a black woman’s natural hair in the White House.

Kelly said Republican voters would be galvanized if former First Lady Michelle Obama ran for president in 2024.

“Really? I mean it’s the same country that made Oprah Winfrey an absolute billionaire, and I watched that show daily and Oprah wore her hair however the hell she wanted,” Kelly said.

“But this woman has no faith in the goodness of Americans.”

The Post has sought comment from the Obamas.
